I have learned

I've learned

that you cannot make someone love you.

All you can do is

be someone who can be loved.

The rest is up to them.

I've learned -

that no matter how much I care,

some people just don't care back.

but who you have in your life that counts. It may be the last time you see them. that money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I've learned -

that true friendship continues to grow,

even over the longest distance.

Same goes for true love.

if we understand that friends change. you will find the strength to help. and standing up for what you believe.

dare not, you don't;

If you'd like to win,

but think you'll

lose, you're lost.

For out in the world

we find success begins

with a person's faith;

It's all in the

state of mind.

Life's battle

don't always go

to the stronger

or faster hand;

They go to the one

who trusts in God

and always thinks

"I can."
